Parents Cast Your Vote For Pumpkins Not Politics
Parents, during parent-teacher conferences this week cast your vote for something a little less serious than the presidential debate...pumpkins. What pumpkin catches your eye scary spiders, prickly porky pine, an angry bird or maybe something a little sweeter like Cinderella? All of the staff were so creative with their pumpkins. What great fun..cast your vote!

Great Turnout for Hallapalooza
I hope everybody enjoyed the Hallapalooza as much as I did. It was great to visit with parents I have not met yet and to see familiar faces. I thought it was a wonderful time to share a cup of coffee together as a community. I want to give a great big thank you to Tanya McDaris, and Fran Kite from our awesome PTA for setting up the coffee for all of us to enjoy this morning.

Flagstaff Fourth Graders Rock
I had the pleasure of going to Flagstaff today to see the fourth graders on their field trip. First of all I have to give a great big thank you to the fourth grade teachers for organizing such an outstanding field trip. The student's were great and the chaperone's were a tremendous help. The students were able to see so many important places in our state. They visited Sunset Crater, Walnut Canyon, Wupatki National Park, and Lowell Observatory. This trip was just packed with awesome sights and hikes. Thank you to everyone who attended and for making the trip so memorable for our CCES students!
