PTA Does It Again!

I want to send out a big THANK YOU to our PTA for purchasing different fun items for the students to use at recess. PTA has given CCES funds to replenish these items as they wear out. The students have really been having a blast.

CCES Student Honored

I want to give a BIG SHOUT OUT to our very own CCES 4th grader Sarva Gupta. Sarva was honored at Thursday's Paradise Valley Board Meeting for winning the 2012 Arizona ELL Assessment Art Contest. Way to go Sarva!

Blue Ribbon Pride

What an incredible celebration Copper Canyon had today!  The Blue Ribbon award is a culmination of the outstanding effort of students, parents, teachers and support staff. I want to give a big thank you to our Blue Ribbon committee that worked tirelessly organizing every detail.

Copper Canyon Kicks Off 2013 With Blue Ribbon Ceremony

Welcome back!

I hope everyone is ready to dive into 2013 with enthusiasm. We have so many exciting things happening at Copper Canyon in 2013.

We are kicking of 2013 with gusto as we celebrate our BLUE RIBBON AWARD. On Tuesday January 15th @ 9:00am we will gather in the cafeteria for a memorable celebration.  Parents please visit our school website for detailed information on all the events happening that morning.

Thanksgiving Donations...Great Job!

Our CCES families were so generous in giving food to the Paradise Valley Food Bank on Friday. CCES families donated 727.99 lbs of turkey and other donations with a grand total of 35 turkeys!  I want to give a special thank you to our student council and Mr. Linderman for spear heading this event.

What a wonderful community we have here at CC!

Veterans Day Chorus Assembly

Parents please join us this Friday on November 9th to celebrate Veteran's Day at our Chorus assembly.

There will be two performances as follows:

Kindergarten, 4th and 5th grades will attend @8:30am

1st, 2nd, 3rd and 6th grades will attend @1:00pm
