Link Up!

You asked we delivered. Although many teachers have the website links necessary for AR and Study Island I have had several requests for the links to be placed on the CCES website.  These links and a few more are now visible on the CCES homepage under "Student Links."

6th Graders Loving PE!

Who says school isn't fun? Our CCES 6th graders had some good old fashion fun today in PE. They were jumping rope, hula hooping, and jumping hurdles all while blasting some tunes.

Thank you Ms. Griffin for making PE fun and bringing back the basics today!

Remember Wednesday is picture day!!!

4th Graders Had Some Rough Weather Today!

Is it a hurricane, tornado, or an earthquake? Fourth graders were greeted with one of these natural disasters today as they entered the classrooms. They had to figure out which disaster had occurred by the clues that were left behind. Fortunately, I didn't have to stay to help with clean up.

What an awesome hands on experiment and demonstration by our fourth grade teachers.  Kudos!!!

Principal Shappee's Blog

Welcome Copper Canyon families!

I have created "Principal Shappees's Shout Out" in order to stay connected with the CCES families on a regular basis.  Our Newsletter will come out every two weeks, but this blog will allow me to communicate less formal, fun, interesting, happenings that occur on any given day at Copper Canyon Elementary.

You can visit the blog directly when ever time permits, or sign up for the "Follow By Email" option in the top right corner of this blog.  When you subscribe every time I post something new it will come directly to your email address. In order to subscribe by email you will be directed to a page entitled Feed Burner. After you enter your email information on Feed Burner you will receive an email with a link asking you to confirm. It's that simple! So visit regularly or subscribe it's completely up to you.

There is a link on the Copper Canyon website to get to the blog under "What's Happening" then click on "Principal's Blog"

I look forward to keeping you posted...no pun intended.
